Well for anyone who didnt know i went for consultant clinic at 10 weeks and am meant to have extra placenta scans at 22, 24 26 weeks and growth scans at 28,32,36

Well went for 20 week scan and was told can only have placenta scan at 24 then growth scans

Phoned mw who phoned day assessment unit to look into it. They eventually phoned me back saying radiology were adamant the guidance is scan at 24 only. They said if i need to check with consultant to ring his secretary as since its what he wrote in my notes he should have a say

So stll being fobbed off! And nowgotta do all the chasing myself. Why have i got to do all this ringing around and then look like a trouble maker. If i'dknown that was all they were gonna do id have rung thesecretary a week ago.

God ive had enough of this. Should i just let it go???

And saw mw today who said mychances of going back to work were 'far flung'. Bp better (140/80) but after being off a month should have been better n that and ive spiked up to 165/92 a couple of times with headaches and got slight ankle marking from socks so probably abit of swelling starting. She is gonna call me with urine results but otherwise kinda limping from appt to appt as they still wont medicate me or let me go back to work so am in limbo. Still waiting on a letter from cardiology too a fortnight after the referral was made. Nice to see they leap into action whn you are a)considering two people not just one and b) someone who has slogged their nuts off for 10 years for the nhs

Pretty much fecked off

Grrrrr what a bunch of useless dickheads!!!! Mad Mad

I wouldn't give up though hun, he wanted you to have those scans for a good reason. You know yourself how crappy you've been feeling even with being off work, it isn't worth the risk to just let it go.

I would also chase the cardiologist referral too, again you were referred for a good reason, so dont give up.

I know its a pain in the arse and it must be even more frustrating when you work for the NHS yourself but getting treated like this.

I really hope you get somewhere soon xxx

I wouldn't let it go, you need those scans! It's ridiculus that after your consultant ordered them your not getting them, hope they buck their ideas up for you x
