Me and OH are thinking about putting off ttc and booking the holiday to mexico. We would both Love another baby but the holiday we both want doesn't really involve being pregnant. We would really like to jet ski, swim with dolphins etc.

i'm so torn, i don't want to go back on the pill at all, i don't want to stop ttc and i do want to go on holiday lol!

What do you think would happen if i was to go on the pill for my fertile time and the 7 days running upto it, but then stop after that point? does it stop ov anyway?
I know Condoms is the obvious but we both hate them.

i'd like to carry on charting so that i can really get to know my cycles so that when we do try again there'd be very little guess work involved.

You need to take the pill from the first day of your cycle to stop ovulation, otherwise theres not enough to build up or something. I looked it up when I misssed a few and apparently the first couple are the worse possible to miss.

How about keeping on charting and just using a condom around ovulation?

I don't actually want to stop ovulation, I'll have to do a bit of research into things!
We are both torn about what to do, he messaged me saying he's torn as well, can't choose between holiday and us time and having another baby! Atleast were both on the same page!
He's watching the footy so I'll let him chill out then we can chat about it all!

Yeh decided we are going to go away, put ttc on the back burner for a few months so i can concerntrate on college and so we can have our first holiday together!

I'm going to go back on the pill till April then come back off it and see what happens!

Sorry Laura, I think when these things come about even if unplanned you still are a little disappointed when af shows.

In the back of my mind I've always got a urning for another baby and am always secretly dissapointes when the witch shows up!

if i wake up in the night around 11-1pm i do feel sick. but not had it early like 8-9pm since the other day.

hi ladies. well my last af was on holiday started on the 13th so i think was about a 28 day cycle, so im hoping that will be me regularly. so af should be due on the 10th im guessing, if she doesnt show i wont be getting too excited though as im still not certain i will be regular
so far iv had no signs of ov anyway, no change in cm or ov pains or anything so will just have to wait and see i guess. so i have no date for testing yet...unless i have ov'd and had no signs then if af hasnt shown by the 20th i may test then xx

Think I am due to ov any day now so will be testing around 16th, if I get that far. Bd'ed yesterday and was sick last night instantaneous morning sickness lol
