Noah has not been sleeping well lately, it has been going on now for about a month waking up to 5 times a night

So christmas eve i decided to put him in the spare room in the double bed because i was getting to the point where i couldnt take no more. Well he went in there and went straight down and woke up once at 4 then went back to sleep till 8 .

So tonight becasue we have had a busy few days we have put his cotbed into a bed. This is going to be the first time. I have just read him a book and his gone straight down . I know he will prob fall out a couple of times lol but I think its the right time for him. He doesnt like to be enclosed lol.

Oooh good luck, it's exciting isn't it! Milo fell out a couple of times in the 1st week but it didn't seem to put him off. Hope Noah and you both have a good night's sleep x

Good luck! I put Caitlin into a cotbed the night of her 2nd bday. I was a bit anxious as she was a crap sleeper and worried she might play up. I neednt have worried, she has slept so much better since and even when she does get up to protest at the gate she has always put herself back to bed. I wish Id done it sooner!

Hannah has always been a brilliant sleeper but just lately she has started being a bit more restless so I'm thinking of changing hers to see if that helps. I'm just waiting until she is over this awful cold/tummy bug that has been lingering with us all for weeks now (on and off) then will take the sides off and make her a big girls bed

Hi Ladies, well the good news is he has not fallen out yet and the bad news is he still wakes up about 3 times.

He just needs to learn to self settle, when he wakes i go in and tuck him back in and he goes straight to sleep. Its like ever time he wakes he cries.

I have tried controlled crying in his cot and it does work but takes a while. I am going to try it tonight when he wakes at 10 going to leave him to tuck himslef back in his bed.
