lol, im house sitting for a couple of hours, mil is at work but is expecting a parcle coming, dunno how to work the tv and im hungry but will feel cheeky rooting through the cupboards(even though she said help yourself to anything) and now my 1 peice of entertainment is zonked out on the sofa

Is the virgin box turned on? if so try to find the button on the remote that changes the mode (ours is called input). Virgin will usually be on the HDMI mode and it should come on then - then just press the 'home' button on the virgin remote to find channel listings
