Just out of interest Simon decided to have look and see what we're entitled to (or not) and it's worked out that we're entitled to about £120 A WEEK more than what we're getting now I'm currently on hold at the moment to them so thought in the mean time I'd see if anyone else has used it and if it's at all accurate?? Thank you Oh and for those that have never used it but want to have a looksie - here's the website: http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Diol1/DoItOnline/DoItOnlineByCategory/DG_172666 xx

I've used it and it was fairly near what we get I think (it was a while ago I used it) but I think they do say its estimate and can be different to what you're actually entitled to

Its always been roughly right for me. However with you both working, even yourself just PT and not paying childcare id be really surprised if you were entitled to £120 a week more than you getting atm (not that I know what that is lol) Good luck though, worth a shot!!!

Yeah I just got through them and they said we're not entitled to working tax credits but it did on the calculator (and that was £88 a week!!) so it must either be well out for us or I've filled it in incorrectly - but I'm sure I didnt Oh well it was worth a try xxx

£120 a week more?! Does Libby go to nursery? Maybe you qualify for childcare? We get £10 a week and I know that's right and that's what the site said (well havent for 4 months ) with Dan full tie, me doing 11 hours and 1 child with no nursery fees EDIT - just saw your your post, you will only get WTC if you earn less than £16k I think

I know Lisa!! Got well excited when it showed that No, Libby doesnt go to nursery - Simon work in the morning and I work in the afternoons so no need to send her. We also only get £10.05 (dont know where the 5p comes from ) in child tax credit and £20ish for child benefits and thats it. I didnt know about the threshold for the working tax credits, they told me it's now £18,000 - we're way out on that one. It's strange because I'm sure I put the info in correctly on the calculator. xxx
