ok ladies i am very very thick when it comes to them , i know how to switch mine on, change batteries and put them on comp

i bought my son a cam for xmas ,,, on the box it says i need an 8gb sd card
i have already wrapped the prezzie and have since found this in the house ,,,,,,,, sandisk microsd/transflash adaptor with a micro sd card in it ,,, albeit only 1gb
would this work with the cam or do i need a special one ?

Im not sure but just wanted to say 1gb is tiny, you can get them dead cheap on ebay! I got one for about £12 and went to currys/comet at gatwick airport and it was about £80

£80 quid !!!!! for a memory card ? ,,, thats way more than the cam cost !

unfortunately i dont have time to wait for ebay ,, dont trust the post x x

He will be able to take a few pics on the camera without a memory card anyway. I havnt got a clue what the memory cards are without seeing them i dont know the names lol, what make camera is it?

it says on the box that without card all pics will be deleted when switched off ,,,,, it is a vivtar something or other ,, he is only 11 so was not prepared to but a hugely expensive one x

Aw so hun i havnt got a clue Maybe unwrap it and check to see if the memory card u have fits? I know i nicked my brother psp memory card for my old sony camera!
