Last year i had to have my dog put to sleep as he was so ill. I had him cremated and have his ashes at home. I intended to scatter them at his favourite walking spot but i have been too upset to go. He also loved snow so i think its time i went and layed him to rest. I am going to get a little plaque with his name etc on and going to nail it to a tree there as well. X

I really do know how you're feeling. We had to have our pussy put to sleep 4 weeks ago, she was only two and a half but got run over and had a spinal injury. We have her ashes in a wooden box and at the moment I couldn't bare to do anything with her ashes. But your post has made me think that in time we'll all feel better.

Thanks ladies. Think i will go tomm and take my other dog with me (who also loved Charlie). Its also a fav spot of my dads who used to live down there as a young boy and he used to love walking Charlie there sometimes. Mite see if he wants to come too x
