benjamin is 5 months old today, according to my counting...4/8/10
BUT if you count in weeks he's nearly 5mths 3 weeks old tomorrow :/
this is very confusing...which one should i go by??? if ppl ask me his age, i get confused lol!!!

I go by calender date i.e the date of the month xx

so its the 4th today so he is 5 mths today?? lol

hv's count by weeks i used to do that but got confused so i just go by date now much easier.x

It's cause there's not an exact amount of weeks in a month so it gets a bit confused along the way. I did weeks till about 12wks then told everyone how old she was by month. Now i just say 1 and a half. x

lol when u get to a yr, i suppose it comes a bit easier with saying the age yeah im gonna say months, its less confusin lol

I got confused to and did it by weeks at 1st but now I just say he's 8 months old ( when did that happen!!!!!). It is because not all months have 28 days which is 4 weeks xxxxx

Yep you can't convert weeks to months as there aren't the same number of days in each month and on average there are 4 weeks and 2 days in each month. I know people tend to round down to 4 weeks per month for ease but on this thinking that would mean there are 13 months in a year and we are pregnant for 10 months (actually 9 months 1 week).

Hannah is 7 months today and she was born 4/6/10. If in doubt - check your ticker
