today i needed to go up bank and veg shop ,, should have pushed buggy through snow ! ,,, instead i took the car
i like next to the sea , on route to the veg shop there is a crossroads in a built up area , well my car just would not stop ! i slid through it and due to all the buildings i couldnt see if anything was coming ! ,,, thankfully there was nothing but i crapped myself as had 2 of the kids in car !
did what had to do and after speaking to lady in veg shop who told me about the car that came down the main hill sideways ( joins onto main road ) over her lunchbreak not 15 mins before i opted to take the longer way back, less of a hill
i wish i had'nt ! ,, was only a mini hill i went down but the council never put a drop of grit down so again i couldnt stop ! and the junction at the bottom of the hill , well the harbour is opposite it ! i ended up manouvering ( sp ) my car while slidin so that if i did not stop on my own i would not end up in the sea but instead into a nearby wall and parked car . safest option i thought. thankfully i stopped on the kerb but was in no position to turn the car there and end up on top of a boat s thought would take the left and go that way ! big mistake was pure ice ! and little did i know a steeper hill to go up , again next to sea but this time not even with metal rope barriers and a bigger drop down ! i just stopped the car and had to really think about my next move ! my left leg was shaking like a shitting dog !
ended up doing a 10 point turn at least so i was nowhere near the water at all ! ,,, i have a major fear of being in cars next to water as it is !
as im sure you have gathered i got home safe and sound !
