after reading the failure rate of the implant im scared.
i had the implant before louis and it was fab! but this time ive had lots of complications, so im going on the coil this week until im ready to try for baby number 2.

this past week ive felt sick every morning and tea time (havent been able to eat at tea time) tied to the extent where im going to bed at 9/9pm and collapsing on my bed and asleep by the time adams brushed his teeth.
my hormones are everywhere i am crying at everything and im over reacting with everything and wanting to run and hide to cry . i was blaming this on being tired but i have no reason to be this tired. also my give away with louis was getting dizzy and i keep feeling dizzy at the minute.
i really dont know what to think. what should i do? what do you think? xx

i think you have to test today and then go from there, when were you looking to ttc?

hhhmmmmm sounds very much like pg signs hun have u dared test yet if not id do a test and if its bfp id get straight on the case and find out about some compensation

the implant has a habbit of making you feel pregnant, and with the added stress of finding out it has failed quite a few times do you maybe think your head is telling you to feel like that?!
can you still feel the implant in your arm?
when i had the implant in i was convinced i was pregnant for the first 3 months because i had all the symptoms!

i wanted to start TTC in septemeber time if it happened now then its happened and id be okay with it once im over the shock. but i dont dare test i sound silly but i darent.

ive had it since louis was 6 weeks and its caused lots of problems but ive felt like this for a week or so and ive only just heard of the failure rate. so i dont think its that x

I'm going to get a test tomorrow I've been busy today I need to know before I go and get the coil on Thursday! The implant has injured me my consultant said they should have checked my body had recovered childbirth before fitting it which they didn't and it caused me inflamed ovaries which caused severe bleeding for 7 months x

how come your having the coil? its a bit of a mess about if your wanting to ttc in septemberish isnt it? let me know if it hurts getting it put in though please!

Because I'm too fertile lol I can only hav one type of pill as my dad and 'nanna' and her twin have very severe heart problems and I fell pregnant on the injection a few years ago but misscarried at almost 5 months but ididnt know I was pregnant as the injection was giving me false hormones... But due to the problems I'm having the implant has got to go so coil is the only option x

ah thats sucks! i wanted the coil but was too much of a wimp lol

i did a test it was negative... had the coil ....typical had complications my womb was tightly closed so had to make a decision consultant wanted me back the next day to go under general anesthetic for it or to insert a large needle into my womb to inject local anesthetic (which for the coil is usually injected into the belly) i opted to do it there and then the needle killed and they had to snip my womb to get it in it was agony about an hour after it but other than strong period pains im okay now xx

Ouch that sounds horrid but at least it is in. I was going to have the coil but the doc I saw couldn't get it in so we gave up on it.
