| i bought some quorn chicken the other day ,,, i am such a " is it cooked "freak,,, never tried it before ,, OH refuses to try it though i hate the smell of mince cooking so neighbour suggested using quorn as it does not smell i think i will buy it when OH at work and cook before he sees it |

| That's what I did a few years ago and hubby said this tastes different to your usual spag bol is it turkey mince and I said yes and after he'd wolfed it down and commented on how delicious it was I said that was Qourn mince and he's never looked back. We both like how it isn't greasy and you can chuck it in frozen as well, with normal fresh beef mince you have to defrost it and brown it off first. AND Quorn is much kinder to the cow Also Quorn is high in protein which is good for children. Quorn "chicken" nuggets are also really nice. I like to just have a plate of them and a side salad sometimes for my tea. |
