anyone own a heart rate monitor??? opinions on accuracy?
my treadmill tells me that i burn 1500 cals a workout, but i've been doing a bit of studying and apparently the machines can be out by a hell of alot...some upto 50% out either way.
so today i spent £70 and invested in a polar heart rate monitor so i can get an accurate check of my calorie burn, how long i'm in the proper 'workout zone' that i should be for weight loss(too high and you will burn muscle, not fat)
