i didnt know that if you dont use your pay as you go phone for a few months they take your number and cut you off now i cannot get it back

I didnt know that! Seems a bit harsh, though I suppose with that many old mobs discarded every year they have to do something or else they would run out of numbers. I think Iv had about 6 numbers in the last 10 years, Im contract atm though.

Right pain in the bum for you! I must get mum to check my granda's mob. He has one for emergencies incase he falls when out for a walk, powercut etc but he never uses it. Dont even think he understands it. My uncle rang him once and it came up 'incoming call' and then 'reject' at bottom of screen so he hit reject as he thought it was a command

i didnt know about it you have to make so many out going calls in a certian amount of time, i have had that no for about 8 years going to miss it now lol

Yeah I used to work in a call centre when O2 used to be BT Cellnet and they do take the numbers back if they aren't used
