Today is now the third time on the trott that the chemist have messed up with Aimee's heart medicine.

We have it every 14 days as it has to stay in the fridge and expires.

I went to get it just now and they said that they forgot to put it in the fridge over night and it isnt stable... so... no medicine.

They are getting some more sent by courier this afternoon (hopefully)...

If it doesnt turn up then I need to try to get some from my local hospital (which makes her sick as its too big a dose) or drive to Oxford to get some...

thats absolutley disgusting. you need to make a complaint to stop it happening agan, its totally out of order xx

Personally I would report them.

Is it the hospital chemist or your local one? If its local could you go to another one xxx

There was a chemist by me who once gave an elderly lady tablets but they got the dosage wrong and she died
They didn't even get shut down or anything and the same chemist people are stil there! Needless to say I never go there now I always go to Boots xxx

It is the local chemist.

They are normally excellent, which is why I use them.

They are also next door to the doctors, and as she needs her meds every 14 days, the receptionist takes the prescription next door for me to save me doing it.

My OH is going mental. I am keeping calm until later, and if I have to drive to Oxford I will prob then explode, lol!

Its Captopril and we are based in Northampton. She has the 25/5 dosage as the 1/1 dosage makes her sick.

We can get the 1/1 dose from our local hospital and we may have to try to keep it down her tonight and tomorrow morning if the new stuff doesnt arrive.

OMG that is shockingly bad! I can't believe they've messed up 3 times!!!!!!!!!! They had better bloody get it to you, otherwise I'd set James on them!!!

The chemists have called and its just arrived, so my MIL is going to get it for me on her way home from work.

(this is after James getting involved and me having hung up on him, lol!)
