How many people can really say that they have that many people who are 'close' to them anyway?

We had about 72 odd at our wedding and in all honesty, that included aunties and uncles who we hadnt seen in years.

If I could have narrowed it down (without peeing off my parents) to people I actually spoke to, I would have had about 20 people xx

Aww. I had 100 at my wedding, and half of those I barely knew and felt forced to invite. Looking back I wish I'd kept it to people i really cared about and was close to. Then it would have only been about 20xx

awww we only had 8 people at our wedding - more than we wanted and i was related to 3, and friends with 1 (my witness), small is definitely the way to go!

its only getting to me cause oh has all these people he has to invite from the sailing club and curling. and then there is the dr people his parents want to invite. then he has all his friends and a couple of their parents to invite... thats not including the family members he is friends with

i just feel like im gonna shine out as the skanky bottom feeder compared to his "upper class" friends and relations

iv been thinking about saying its cancelled and just going to reg office our self and doing the deed. but he wont have it, invites r out and it will make his parents look bad!

I did narrow it down and they got over it. It was either invite 40+ people (my dad's siblings and families) or leave them all off and have a cosy wedding. Everyone got over it.

don't worry about what other people think, it's only you and him that matter!
we only want a small do too, but that's cos we only have a few good friends.

I literally have 2 friends and about 15 family members including kids, O'hs got a much bigger family so therell be loads more on his side but I refuse to invite people just for the sake of it x

we had about 15 during the day then had a massive party at night and invited everyone that we could think of, everyone seemed happy with it and it was a brilliant night lol x
