| well went to the hosp for routine appt and doc asked how pelvis pain was and i said it was a constant ache, which hurts more when i move.
she asked if i wanted to come in and be monitored for a couple of days, this freaked me out more, good job they took bp before, i said no it would cause too much hassle with my son, rich would panic and it would be hard to explain to him, so i said no, she said it was too rest, i explained that i had called in work and was off sick at moment,
after further discussioin with the mw, she agreed to sign me off for further 2 weeks.
baby was fine, heartbeat ok and bump measuring ok, well least i think so she didnt mention if there was a problem.
got to go back in 6 weeks, and she booked me in with my consultant thank goodness
been told that if pain contnues they might look at c-section, mw had told me that due to my bmi they would do a c-section, when i asked the doc was not impressed and when she said no, i said thank goodness, i think she was thinking i was after a c-section but i just wanted to check what mw had said.
russ is working from home and i'm looking forward to having him at home all the day
sorry for long post, just needed to share |

| They wanted to keep you in for minotoring for spd? How very random. Or did they think you were having contraction syle pains? Glad you didnt have to stay in or have a sec anyway, ive heard as long as they know you have spd they can take plenty precautions to keep you comfy during a natural birth though. Im having the sec anyway so not an issue for me but worth dicussing with em |

| thanks hun, i was rushed in monday with gp thinking i was in labour, but was the spd, the pain was centralised between legs and when doc touhced it, i screamed, dont think they will be doing that agin for a while lol
the doc said that they would talk about birth plan when i go in 6 weeks time.
well when we came out i checked with russ that she wanted to keep me in and he said yes, he said i just went white and in to panic mode, which he thoguht was funny, as he knew it would be a no, but now you said that it does seem weird for spd, never kept me in with rich when i torn all my tendons and ligaments in groin due to my mother and a handbrake slipping... at 35 weeks.
thanks for the reply |

| You musta caught a doc on a very soft moment, judging by my obstetricians they will keep me in when my bp actually makes my brain explode lol!!! I think if you google spd and birth theres some ideas on keeping comfy. Have you been referred for physio yet too cos they will probs have some good ideas for ou |

| yeah pyshio and the pelvic pain clinic, which i'm going to on tuesday, waiting for call about the physio, the doc was on about a belt and crutches, which would go down lovely at work.
but i dont care, i just want bubs to be ok and apparently he/she is
thanks for the tip about searching online, will have a look next week when i'm not so tired
hows you? your bp calming down not long now, its gone quick,
why is it other peoples pregnancies seem to go really quick yet your own seems to drag a little at times |
