Just think though if you've been there 12 years that will be a very good lump sum of redundancy pay! If they're offering you solely the legal requirment then you'd receive 0.5 weeks pay for every year you worked there under the age of 22 and 1 weeks pay for every year there over the age of 22 to the age of 41.
