I had to go to the hospital yesterday as i started to have a bleed, they told me my cervix is still closed but could be the beginning of something.. they said it was a 50/50 chance.

The bleeding stopped yesterday for abit then started again last night, and has died down again this morning.. Ive got a scan booked for tomorrow but im really worried..
they did bloods and said that babies hormone is still nice and high. Which is a positive sign!!

has anyone else been through this?? or anything similar?

They told me to keep thinking positive thoughts!! xxx

Hiya hun, I had a huge bleed with Libby at 9 weeks and they called it a 'threatened miscarriage', as you can see everything was fine.

I also had a big bleed with this one at 8 weeks and again everything is fine.

Well with Libby I was an emotional wreck thinking that everything was over, it was just a sudden gush like a period so we rushed straight to A&E - when checked they said my cervix was also closed so was a good sign and just told me to rest. The bleeding eased very quickly and I had no more after that.

This time, because I had been through it before although I panicked and thought the worse I stayed at home and waited to see what would happen, again it stopped very quickly and I just spoke to my MW over the phone who didnt seem concerned so put my mind at rest. Again it hasnt happened since.

I really hope it's just one of those things for you too hun, did you bleed at all with Joshua? xx

I didnt bleed with josh at all, thats what it was like for me yesterday i had a little bit of pinky blood which got me concerned but when i was at the hospital and they were checking my cervix i had a gush of blood, but as i said before its been on and off, fingers crossed everything will be ok, but just laying in bed resting all day makes you think too much!! xxxx
