Yeah ive picked my names so not really canvassing opinions but i dont get to post 1st on a shiny new forum often so might be nice to know what ya think anyway!

My girls are:

Caelyn Sandi-caleyn being irish for slender or girl depending on the source you look at and Sandi for her grammas-SANdra and DIanne

And Awen Annalisa-Awen is welsh for inspiration and annalisa is my name

Wanted to keep to a celtic thing for them both

I love how you came up with Caelyn's middle name. Arwyn's middle name is Rose after OH's mum but now I wish I called her Roslind so it was a combination of both our mum's (Rose and Linda)

and Awen is just beautiful

My little lady is going to be called Alyssa Rose-Mae, but had she been a boy she would have been Ellis Blake.

Cerys Sarah we chose. Cerys is welsh for beloved or loved one. Sarah is from her great grandmother (passed away before even i was born, my mum's mum) Sarah is also after someone who was very special to Karl. She died a few years ago after a brain tumour - in her 30's xx

Oliver was just a name be both liked and Andrew is after my Uncle Andrew who died in August 2008 aged 42 in the middle of a heart operation.

Paige is paige just because we both liked it but lesley is my grandads name and my middlename because named after him so it felt right to pass it on to Paige

If we are fortunate to have a successful pregnancy and its a boy then we want the name Ryan - which means 'Little King' Its funny we decided a boys name between us straight away but dont really discuss girls names , wonder if its a sign. I do like the names Grace and Isla though

it was jessica anne for girl, i love jessica and anne is my nans name

then for a boy i was torn between richard james and james richard, (richard after my grandad and james after my uncle jim who died, while i was away, so i got very drunk and then found out i was pg, so its his fault rofl)

so my mom said whilst i was in labour if he got hair he is richard james, if he bald james richard.
he had alot of hair and have to say richard suits him to a tea.

we picked them over 5 years ago when we first started dating and not changed our mind since

benjamin was the name we both liked (adam is a fussy git and only liked certain names, ones that weren't chavvy weren't "gay" his words or anything that was too ponsi!)

and benjys middle name is adam (after his daddy) obviously lol

if we were to have a girlie (please god let adam want another child in the future!!!) i love the name evie, ruby, belle ...
if we chose evie/ruby the child would have jayne (after my amazing mummy)...if we were to have another boy i havent a clue lol...

If either of em had been boys we were goig with Seth Edward Harry-seth being a name we both liked, edward for neils dad who passed away a couple of months after we met and Harry...well thats for my granddad who died in the 1st year of my nurse training and sadly never saw me qualify, get married or meet his great grand daughters but i think of him with every big event in my life

Wil is William James. James is OH's middle name too and we both like it but have a nephew called James. William we took ages deciding on but I have a strong belief that a name has to last you from cradle to old folks home and everything in between. William is so versatile - William, Will, Wil, Bill, Billy that I knew it would give him whatever he needed from a name.

I shorten it to Wil because one of the main characters in the Celestine Prophecy is called Wil and that book triggered my desire to have Wil.

Wil was going to be Sarah Grace if he was a girl and we had it picked out long before I was pg. There have been many Sarah's in my family historically and we both liked it and Grace because to have grace is a beautiful thing. Grace is taken from my learnings from The Road Less Travelled

We've only ever decided on boys names and that was before ttc so I'm convinced we'll be having a boy again this time as his name was chosen already before we made him Stephen has always been my favourite boys name and his middle name is George after my dad (which also makes him Stevie G like Steven Gerrard, my favourite footballer ) xxx
