Remember last friday I was looking at booking a holiday well I went ahead and booked. Just put the payment details in and it said i couldn't have the week i wanted but could go the week before, so i thought yeah why not if it's the same price. It wasn't until a couple of hours later I realised thats the weekend of the Banda Night out. What an idiot. I didn't even check my calendar or anything when i booked the holiday!
Luckily I got it all fixed. Phoned the caravan park the next day and told them Hubby couldn't get the fri and sat off work (i was too embarassed to tell them it was my mistake
) they said I could go on Monday rather than Friday. It only cost £20 more as i had to change the type of caravan. I looked on a map and Birmingham is kind of on the way to Wales from where we are so wasn't worth driving home after the night out so for £20 i got another night at the travellogde then we're off on holiday monday morning
So after various phone calls, £40 extra &a lot of apologising to Matt I can still have my night out and we're having a bit of an extended holiday. Still feel like a bit of a prat for not thinking i might have other plans before booking though.
