Had a consultants appointment this weds, and midwife this fri, consultant app went really well! He was very lovely and reassuring and cracked lots of jokes about "pushing" me into labour ("I won't push you into a decision - after all, you're the one that has to do all the pushing.. hahaha!") and he recommended a VBAC, which I'm actually really happy with. He said as they know my history they'll monitor me and bubs super closely and be ready to swing into a c section asap if needed. I'm actually really excited to try a natural birth!

Midwife app was a bit of a mixed bag - good as baby is a good size and had a very healthy strong heartbeat Bad as I'm borderline anaemic, my blood pressure has dropped too low and i had blood in my urine so most likely have an infection They're sending the sample off to the hospital to check, but it would explain why I've been feeling so rubbish lately.

oooh i didnt realise you were interested in trying for a vbac, if you are happy about it im sure it would be a lovely experience - plus it will be good to know they are 'on hand' if needs be hopefully you can just swallow a few tablets and be all better for the other stuff

that sounds good about the natural birth hun,

i've had blood in about 90% of my uirine tests and none have come back infection,

but i''ve been on iron tablets since about 16weeks as i'm anaemic,

i wouldnt worry too much aboot the anaemic bit. i was with paige n was on iron tabs.. im pretty sure i will be with this one

good news about the Bvac, my friend went for one n did really well
