Obstetric clinic news _
PostSubject: Obstetric clinic news   Obstetric clinic news EmptyFri Sep 03, 2010 8:19 pm

Heya
Had my obstetric clinic today and not too bad. Had same consultant as last time. He's agreed to my elective section with hardly a murmur. He asked about last time and how i felt about it and i said it was a terrible and he asked if i wanted a vbac and i said not even slightly. He asked why and i explained about feeling scared and out of control and having only just come off anti D's for Post natal depression and not feeling able to go through it all again and he just wrote 'elective section 38/39 weeks' on my notes and didnt say another word on the matter.

He booked me in for growth scans at 28, 32 and 36 weeks but forgot about the placenta dopplers but luckily i remembered and asked if they were still gonna do them and they are. Hes also booked me in for an ultrasound of my kidneys, liver and gall bladder as i had gall stones with caelyn. Also had bloods and urine done. They dont wanna see me now til 28 weeks so ive gotta ring my midwife as shes gonna see me in between to keep an eye on me.

Cannot explain what a huge weight has lifted off me now and can just try and enjoy this one

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR i just typed a long answer and pressed the back button on my browser. Its total nausea, no vomiting but seems worse than last time. With C the worst was over by 9 weeks whereas its worse than ever now. I even feel sick havig a drink. Went to bed at 9pm last night cos was so fed up of feeling ill and tired. Ive been trying sea bands and eating little and often. Hoping its not gonna be for much longer cos i could easily cry some days at the mo. My job just isnt one i can sit back on my heels for a while when im rough but i had 4 days off sick in august with an upset stomach and an injured shoulder so dont feel i can take anymore time off at mo
