Whilst sat in the bath this evening, one of my random thoughts popped into my head confused When you run a bath, do you get in as soon as the taps start running OR do you wait for the bath to fill and then get??

I know, I need help eh?

Only when it's run, it'd be too hot otherwise as I fill with hot then add a bit of cold as my mixer tap is poo! x

I run it then get in cos it's never the right temp to start with, takes some fine-tuning!

Umm see the nice way to run it is to fill only with hot then and cold at the end. But im fair to impatient so run them together and get in, then im basically done and bored by the time its deep lol!

depends on time!

my shower is sooooo unreliable that I keep having to have a bath in the morning before work. If I'm running late I get in when it's half full and just get started, if I've more time I wait til it's done.

and I put Arwyn's bath thermometer in it to check the temp Embarassed Laughing

weird,i just got out the bath and was thinking about that whilst i was in there.

I wait till it's about half full then get it and leave taps running till its full enough.
I use to wait till it was full but it was always too hot to get into so i've had to empty some then add cold, then when i got in i'd find it too cold and have to put hot in. Such a waste so i changed my methods Laughing

omg you ladies are out of your minds!!!! Shocked

i run the hot, add cold, make it all bubbly and get in....i genuinely don't know how long it's been though - im a bit ritualistic Laughing so if i don't have at least an hour i don't bother and just have a shower Very Happy

I always used to half fill it and then get in. While I was pregnant my bump got so big I used to have to sit down as soon as I started running it as I wasn't sure how much water to add and it was too slippery. Used to spend hours in the bath with a glass of wine and a good book. Now I don't have a chance. My sister took Jamie for a couple of hours yesterday and I had my first bath since he was born. It was so nice (should add that obviously I have had showers!)

my hot water flow is so crap that sometimes i start running it and feck off then come back and add cold , other times i start running it then get in and keep it running

i dont bathe often now , always shower , i used to love gettin into a bath with a book or mag but would fall asleep or get disturbed every so often with everyone needing the toilet Sad

Wil and I get showers together now instead it is quicker.

i run mine with hot and then add a little bit cold and then get in. i like my baths red hot so that im bright red when i get out!!strangely enough alfie also likes hot baths (obv i dont do it as hot as mine) but i used to have red hot baths when i was preggers even tho they told me not to. I wonder if this is why alfie likes them hot??? The correct temp on his bath thermometer is always too coldd for him and i have to add extra hot water or he cries his eyes out!! x
