More than two kids? _
PostSubject: More than two kids?   More than two kids? EmptyTue Apr 12, 2011 5:34 am

Evening all,

We currently have two little ones a year apart. They are so so on sleeping and have their own rooms as we are in a three bed. We are thinking maybe of another one. Does anyone have more kids than two? Or how many are people thinking of? We would like more but want to ensure that we can provide enough financially and give them enough time.

Oooh, me me me!!!

I want another one. Thank you, please! Very Happy

Ours are 22 months apart and have their own rooms too. If we had another, then I would put the two girls together and then the baby would go in the nursery.

Emotionally - if you had 10 kids, you would still give them enough emotionally. You dont split your love, you just increase it with each child.

Financially - not sure on that one hun, but there is much more to life than money, and as long as you can afford to feed and look after them, then why not.

Im at the 'considering' stage, mine are close in age too

I think exactly the same as Laura, even if you think you can 'nearly' afford it then you will be just fine xxx

Sorry that sounded silly as you obviously love all your kids but was thinking of time but I guess you work at finding the time. One of my friends has six and does it. Do you ever worry about the middle child? Everyone seems to warn against three. We would love an army. What sort of gap are you thinking of between your youngest and next one? Sorry to be so nosy x

Lisa!!! I never thought I would see you type that! Shocked - LOVE IT! Go for it!

Hehe, the middle child thing makes me giggle. My ex was a middle child - total tosser and you could clearly see he was a middle child. My OH is also a middle child (you seeing the trend here?) and he is absolutely a middle child too.

Lily will make a perfect middle child - she is feisty, moody, stroppy - just perfect! She certainly wont let herself be left out and forgotten Very Happy.

Ideally I would like to fall pregnant towards the end of the year, so there would be something like an 18 month age gap.

Im thinking of getting Jess to a toddler then starting???? My eldest would then nearly be ready for school, so wouldnt be so bloody stressful at home!

My sister always complained of middle child syndrome.....she got hand me downs - lol.....but y'know she was loved the same as us all, and thats what matters!

Jess is in a lot of hand me downs, and prob doesnt get the 1-1 attention that Isla got.....but she is so loved and wanted its untrue x

I'm one of two and a few people who are one of three complain. But I figure it's more down to the parents and as long as they're loved does it matter?

Hannah is a total diva and even now won't be ignored so like Lilly would make a great middle child Laura :-)

He He Laura!!!!!!

Im so on the fence atm???????!!!!!!

I really want a big family all of a sudden, but im scared my section belly Laughing just wont take anymore??

I can see a post coming up for 'more than 2 sections'?

Chris has agreed we could consider adoption once the children are a little older (and can have an input), if I decide against putting my body through it again.....as I really am shite at being pg Laughing

I read that 3 sections are allowed - it was all over the place when Victoria Beckham was pg with her Cruz.

My OH loves being a middle child, he has a great relationship with both his brother and sister. It certainly doesnt put me off.

There is then always the option of a fourth Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy x

Well i have 4 ages 1, 5, 11, 13.

I wont lie its hard bloody work, costs a fortune, drives you mad at time with all the noise/mess they make and you have to be prepared to give almost every bit of your life up for them, unless you have a good OH who helps out a lot, (i am a single mum Rolling Eyes )

BUT, its is also very very rewarding, when i see the 4 of them together my heart swells, and you can always guarantee there is someone for the other to play with. I do love having a big family, its hard work and i am always skint but its worth it xx

We've decided two for the moment. We have a three bed house so when this baby comes along kids will have a room each. Money wise we arent well off but we're doing ok. I think more than two at the moment we'd struggle with money and depending on sex we might have to switch rooms round and two share. We've also talked about the fact that 3 means possibly needing a bigger car, as yes you can fit three car seats in the back of cars but it's a squeeze and space wise we'd probs need something bigger.
Also in terms of caring for them when out and about two is easier to control, or at least for me as Imogen is a little monkey and loves to run off. at least if theres two of us and two of them it's fair Laughing

So yeah all in all we've decided two is fine for now. I would love 3 or 4 or more Laughing but hubby not so keen so after this baby i'm going to leave it 5yrs + then discuss the possibility of more. Both hubby and I are only 21 so feel we have that freedom to leave it a bit, as we could have a 3rd or 4th around the time most people have their first Smile

opps didn't mean to write an essay! x

I've got 3 and have had 3 sections and my belly has survived. They're hard work and financially draining but at the end of day it doesn't matter how much money you have as long as you have time and love for them all.

My middle one is a boy and other two girls. They're all so different and great fun and the banter between the older two is great. There's never a dull moment in our house and it's never quiet.

So anyone thinking of 3 (or 4 or 5) I'd say go for it.

xxx

I want 4 ideally but think we may have to stop at 3 unless we can somehow afford a bigger house!
Lisa I got told that it's much more common now for women to have 3+ sections ( Victoria Beckham, Samantha Cameron were my examples Very Happy ) and that there had been one lady who had 7 sections Shocked

I have four. It is really hard work but i am so proud of them. I had 4 because of middle child thing. My poor son would have been the filling in the sister sandwich. Luckily we have 2 of each. The girls share and the boys share rooms. I won't be having anymore because Siobhan would be the middle child and she is enough on her own. Fiesty isn't in it.
