any recommendations? elijah is quite interested in using a spoon now, but obviously his weaning spoons aren't really deep enough for him to manage to keep anything on as far as his mouth (awww), and i don't want to give him a metal one yet - is there something in between?

just a spoon really, we are far far away from forks and other such complicated ideas!

We've got the plastic set from Ikea http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/30096906 , the handles are nice and chunky so easy to grip and the spoons are lovely and deep. You can keep the forks and knives for later on (Libby attempts a knife but isn't very good bless her) xx

We have the ikea ones too. ASDA do practically identical ones (slightly poorer quality but doesnt matter for LOs) - £1 for an 18 piece set so if you can't get to ikea try asda Very Happy

We've got them as well - theyre also good. Probably a bit easier than the ikea/asda ones too as theyre not as big. We have a LOT of spoons - I went through a 'spoon phase' Rolling Eyes Embarassed Laughing
