Have just found out 'We Need To Talk About Kevin' by Lionel Shriver has been made a film which is being shown at Cannes. So will be out laterthis year. As a huge fan of the book I cant wait to see it.

The books so clever at raising the nature vs nurture qu and the 1st time i read it i genuinely thought Kevin was the antichrist but having read it again now im not so sure its all him.

If you havent read it i dont wanna spoil it but get to the library!

ohh it sounds interesting but will it a) give me the horrors about elijah becoming possessed (stupid exorcist) or b) be heartbreaking - if so i will give it a miss

Its fiction. I dont wanna givr too much away but its about the mother of a kid who is a school shooter and its based on letters she writes about bringing him up

I really hope the film is as good as the book, usually they are a massive disappointment! xx
