Stephen went through a funny phase like that of crying every time he went in the bath but it only lasted a week or so, nothing changed so I think it was just a phase! Hopefully Alfie is the same and will just start liking it again! Sorry can't be of much more help! xx

Phase hun!! Defo a 'phase'!

I've had it with both of my two and funnily enough it has only been this last week that Hannah has stopped it. She now goes skitz when I take her out to get her dressed instead Rolling Eyes She was that bad at one point that she would scream so hard that she made herself sick Shocked. I don't have any advice I'm afraid hun, all I did was try to make it as stress free as possible and quick as possible. I reduced baths to once every 2-3 days and just gave her a wash with a warm flannel the other days.

I know Mari went through the same 'phase' with Eli recently - not sure if he is over it yet? and loads of people here (well AB at the time) had LOs going through it the same time as Thomas.

Sorry I can't help more hun, best thing I've found is to just ignore it and give them as quick a wash as possible until they stop Neutral

xx

hmmm well elijah isnt completely inconsolable anymore at bathtime but its a bit random as to wether he is happy or not! we just do baths once or twice a week now when he really needs a good soak Laughing

we found having a shower with him is generally much better - if he is getting tired it doesn't need to take as long and he is happier in the shower trying to catch the water

the other thing was mario sent us some elc bath crayons which are great, he loves drawing on the tiles with them (as does mr.mari) and they do seem to come off most surfaces (except wallpaper) really easily Smile

I would say definately a phase and we found it only lasted for about a week and then Bethany would go back to loving her baths again xx
