| do you keep your clothes out on the line for? I do my washing at night then clothes out on the line in the morning and in in the aftenoon. Sometimes it rains while I'm having my daily nap and I have to leave them out a bit longer but still I like to get them in the same day. My neighbour though has stuff on her line for a week sometimes. She put washing out same time as me on Fri and it's still there now.. Me and Matt have bets on how long stuff will stay out there We don't have much other excitement in our lives. Just wondered if it was normal for people to leave their washing out so long, it seems lazy to me but maybe I'm really sad and have no life so worry about my washing being out too long. |

| I wash mine 1st thing on a morning, and pop it out when its done. I always bring it in whether its dry or not at the end of the day cos we have loads of creapy crawlies that seem to come out at night. I won't even leave my pegs on the line cos a spider will more than likely make a home in the spring of the peg I'll usually just pop it on the clothes airer when I bring it in My mum sometimes leaves hers out for days, if it rains she'll just leave it till it dries again - unless its something she really needs lol..lazy biatch!! |

| some of elijah's clothes are on the line and have been for errrr 3 days now. for several reasons - i have been working like a maniac and hubby has not considered that they might need bringing in, elijah has millions of clothes, it has been the wettest few days ever so all of our drying screens are full and i cannot afford to be drying stuff if we dont actually need it!!!
normally i bring it in as soon as its dry, occasionally leave it overnight (usually if i forget) but at the moment it is a point of protest/necessity! |

| Im too lazy to stick the line up and dry all mine indoors over radiator dryers or clothes horse - I just accept that it can take 2-3 days to dry things in summer when heating off. Things like towels, bedding, jeans etc I can finish in tumble dryer though hate using it too much as it so expensive!
I thought if it rained you had to rewash everything? Do things not smell fusty if they have been rained on and dryed again? |

| I make sure everything is in the same day. I normally pop it out the back on a clothes horse rather than a washing line. That way, if it rains, I just grab the whole thing and bring it in. x |

| My washing always comes back in the same day, whether it is wet or dry....my neighbour on the other hand will leave her washing out for up to 2 weeks:shock: ...she still has washing on the line now that has been rained on I don't know how many times. What makes me laugh is she will go out to the line to get things in if she needs them but then leaves the rest.... |

Are you saying my clothes stink??? Smell fine to me, I do occasionally squirt febreeze all over the clothes horse when they drying to get an outdoors scent the cheats way. Love bounce dryer sheets too. I remeber being a child and lying on the sofa & getting mum to thow the hot towels from the dryer over me. Awww childhood memorys... |

| lol, mine do sometimes smell funny and need rewashed but thats usually because iv left them in machine too long after its finished. I use the non-bio gel too and its a nightmare for encouraging mould in the seal Need to remember to wipe it out regularly and do a boil wash every few weeks. |

| Just a morning or afternoon - then finish in the drier
I re wash if its rained on - not meaning to insult anyone that doesn't but rain water is disgusting - you may re think putting them on after being rained on after reading this! Its full of SHITE basically - fumes, pullantants, chemicals, dust etc - lets face it when your car gets rained on its not clean is it - its streaky. |
