| Woah that's a long time. Mine takes me 2 mins to wash in the shower, 3 mins to dry and 10 mins to straighten. My hair is deceptively thick as the hair itself is quite fine but there is so much of it! Even when it was waist length it'd only take 5 mins to was and 5 to dry, straightening it would take about 15-20 mins. |

| Mine takes 2 minutes to wash, dries in minutes on its own then 10 seconds to shove wax in it.
When it is long it takes about 15 minutes to wash, 20 minutes to dry and 30 minutes to straighten. This is why I have it so short - life is too short to be messing with my hair. |

| I leave the shampoo and conditioner in there for 5mins each. My hair can become dry so like to moist it lol. I wish mine took 5 mins, if i cut my hair really short i would seriously have an afro. Char |

| hmmmm i wash mine in the shower or if im alone with eli stick my head under the shower - i wash it pretty much every day, its fine so it looks gross if its even a bit greasy. i rarely bother drying it (woooooooooosh its a bit flyaway!!!) and sometimes i brush it awful...but often it ends up just tied back |

| Erm 5 min in shower and thats shampoo x2 and conditioner. I just lather it up for a min, rinse straight off and repeat.
Blow dry about 5min but generally I let it dry naturally. Straightening 15-20 min maybe just doing it slow in front of tv - I generally straighten in evenings.
I only wash my hair twice a week though. It still seems a faff! |

Mines pretty much this - longer to dry though, maybe 5-10 mins but the hairdresser said my hair was porous as it takes her ages too! although before I had it cut it took alot longer to dry If im just at home its 2 mins to straighten as its not curly, just goes fluffy! I spend longer if Im going out though to get it perfect! I dont always even dry it, sometimes if I have no time I wash, squeeze with the towel and put up! |

| Mari I straighten my hair about once a week. I too wash it, let it dry naturally and more often than not its tied back. My hair looks nice 1-2 days a week tops. Im trying to make more of an effort though as lately I feel like a bit of a frumpy mummy. Wana lose weight, do my hair and make up more often and be a MILF by my bday in July |

| Snoops you're already a MILF!
I have to wash my hair every 2nd day. Wish I could leave it longer as my scalp doesn't seem to like shampoo of any kind. |

| Char, you are my hair twin!! I just got mine cut to shouler length but before that it was halfway down my back, it took about 10 mins to wash and condition, 15 mins to blowdry (fine hair but loads of it) then over an hour to straighten My hairdesser recommended only washing it about once every 5 or 6 days as it gets dry and frizzy really easily, and she said its best not to overwash dry hair as it will make it worse. So you're not a tramp at all! My hair is a real white-girl afro, it's a nightmare! Now it's shoulder length it takes about 5 mins to wash, 10 to dry and about 40 minutes to straighten, but as long as I don't get rained on and if I tie it up for showers/baths/bed it stays fairly straight, or at least wavy until the next wash. Couldn't go through that every day!! I reckon we should post a pick of our freshly washed and unstraightened afros, I bet mine would be the biggest by far! |

| MINE is a nightmare!!!!!!!!!!!!!! have you seen my FB pics how long it is! lol mind had it cut last week but still long. takes me ages to wash, (and its fallin out lol) to dry 1/2 time I give up takes a good 30mins but to get it bone dry its more like 40. I just dry it a bit and leave it to dry, and chuck it up. If straightening it takes me another 40mins. Im like you I tend not to wash mine that often as its such hard work. or I plan when I have time to dry it or what I am doing to whether I have time to straighten it, and sort kids out. lol I use alot the dry shampoo have you tried that?? its fab!!! saves time xx |
