| James has got me a new number plate for my car. Now, he wants me to move the space, which isnt actually allowed. It would look much better if I did, and I know loads of people do it and get away with it. The plate is: T13 URA He wants me to put 'T 13URA' on the plate. Would you? x |

| They wouldnt take it away, you would normally just get a warning unless you got a police man who wanted to charge you, then its an on the spot £60 fine. I would get the real ones made up too, so when it comes to MOT time I would swap them over so it doesnt fail. I was quite happy with the original way, but James isnt. Hmmmm. x |

| Police head on now - you could get a fine and have to change it back to what it should be (police will check you have done this)
BUT
I have never fined anyone for it. If it's perfectly clear what the letters and number are I don't see the harm ( some people make them look like something else so hard to tell what it's supposed to be). Your problem would be getting someone to do it as you have to take your log book into the garage that makes the plates.

X Ahhh I was hoping you would reply with your police officers view on it hun Hmmmm, I will defo get the real plates made up to. There are loads of places online who make up whatever plates you want. Obviously I would make sure that other than the gap it was legit in every other way (letter font, size, etc.) x |

| I had L13 AEV which I moved the space on so it was L13A EV I was naughty and I never got caught I think they are more likely to stop you i you fiddle with the slant of letters or change the screw placing to change a letter - cos that makes it hard to read and recognise the plate |

| Ok... its decided.... T 13URA on the front and T13 URA on the back - so that if the police use their number plate recognition thingy they wont tell me off x |
