at D's 2 year appointment yesterday we discussed her lack of speech and it was suggested to me that a review was done in 3 months to see if she had come on any all she says is dadada and all done ( only those who know her understand thats what she says )and occasional baa ( bye)
HV has just phoned after reading about appointment yesterday and already spoke to speech and language therapy and they have decided she needs to be seen now taking into consideration my middle child had speech issues
i am quite happy about this as i think infact i know she is way behind and often compare her to others her age and younger , i know i shouldnt

so she is coming out this afternoon to go through paperwork and for me to sign the referral

Its good that they are on top of it, and also that they are taking actions as soon as possible, without you waiting months and chasing them to do something about it. That will give her a good head start xx
