Ava is seriously doing my head in today, Ive had to put her for a nap because I just need time to chill! she's turned so naughty recently, she pays no attention when I tell her off, today she's pulled off my wallpaper in the bedroom, broken the drawer on the tv cabinet, ripped my order book and scribbled all over it amongst other things.

No-one prepares you for toddlers Aargh!!!!

I have to say I am very lucky and probably a bad week has 1 naughty day - when I just want to go and hide from her!
She doesn't really 'do' much naughty, but a few days ago she was just whingey, throwing food, not eating, wouldn't let me sit down for 5 minutes, climbing on me and just generally annoying me all bloody day

But it does make you realise how nice the non naughty days are and appreciate them more, cos I do take it for granted how well behaved she is!

I'm hoping its just a stage where she's testing me, she's certainly succeeding!

Yup all the time! Its the near constant fake crying and screwed up face that grates me the most atm! I conceived this one when Caitlin was just a month or 2 older than Ava and have since had many a 'what the feck have I done moment!' I must be mental signing up to go through all this again lol.

You still have bad days, or weeks lol but when they older you can tell them to go to room to play, read to get a break

i have this pretty much every day with lewis...i was so not prepared for having a toddler!!!

i actually have to run away from him sometimes to get 2seconds peace from his incessant whining for a cuddle(even when he's getting one!)

i'm so glad for you ladies, sometimes I question myself and think I'm doing it all wrong, feel better after having a run and will now crack open the vino!

URGH!! yes! Hannahs just had the worlds worst tantrum.

she always says "im cold" but what she really means is...im tired. she just whines over and over again im cold im cold im cold. then when you offer her a cardie she says no thats a rubbish thing to say. two minutes later "im cold whine whine whine whine whine"

seems like a petty thing compared to the day you have had but I had a week of this in SPAIN....35 degrees and hannahs cold all week.

Caitlin had a lovely melotdown in M&S kids dept this morning. She really showed off her increased vocabulary too

It was horrendous, our M&S btw is opposite a Mc D's and of course Caitlin now recognises this fact so starts a tantrum for a happy meal as soon as I park the car.

yeah we have those days but happily they are few and far between, normally i just stuff some things in the pram and set off when eli is being like that and walk til my feet cant take it or just let him free in a park

well I'm glad to say todays been completely different, she's been an angel up to now!

At the moment, noah has his whiney days which go through me lol.
