Had a scan yesterday and dr found some lucose in my urine (I put this down to not drinking enough and only eating cake and cookies over the weekend...) but anyway being the drama queen that the dr's are over here he sent me for the big glucose tolerance test (had glucose screening test a few weeks ago for another reason) he told me it'd be an hour and a half so I thought ok fine.

Got there and they said it's 2 hours, with a blood test every half hour and a urine sample every hour. thats 5 blood tets. ugh I suppose Im glad they didn't tell me before I got there but I don't like needles at the best of times so being stuck there on my own was just horrible. not to mentino the yacky disgusting drink they make you have.

I almost (but not really) hope there IS something wrong because Ill be really annoyed if he's made me do another stupid test for nothing.

Gosh they do like to be sure over there don't they, I had glucose test with Lucas, bottle of lucozade to drink in 5 mins yukkk

I did that one already lol it wasn't lucozade though it was glucose disolved in water yak. Those results came back fine but at my last check was glucose in urine so they made me do this.

and the mofo's have said it's all fine completely normal. which is great but Im annoyed I wasted my morning at the hospital, suffered last night with heartburn not being able to take anything and had to have 5 flippin blood tests argh.

Glad everything is ok. I had to go and have loads of samples done when I was pregnant with Stephen because I'd eaten fizzy cola bottles before I gave the mw a wee sample once

I think thats what happened to me it was Tylers bday on wednesday and he had a cake for nursery (that the remaining half came home for us to eat) and then sunday was his party with a new cake, and cookies, I didn't drink much apart from coke and then gave a wee sample.

I'll know next time to not binge on sweets the weekend before my visits haha.
