anyone watched it? Intense.
It's the story of Christopher McCandless, who gave away his life savings and went 'into the wild' to survive on his own off of the land. He eventually died of starvation... when he went to cross back over a river to leave the season had changed and the river was too treacherous. He then couldn't catch enough food to survive. We watched it last night and I can't stop thinking about it now. I get what he was trying to do but he was completely unprepared and led to such a sad outcome.
