I've been given your details by YSL customer service.
I purchased a YSL Touche eclat from Gatwick airport on 4 Sept 2011 before heading off on holiday. I did not use the new product until 12 days into my holiday, I noticed my eyes were sore and flaky but put it down to possible sunburn and thought nothing of it.
A few weeks after coming back from my holiday i attended a Family party, I used the new product again along with other make-up, the following morning my eyes were very swollen, and red and painful. I was unable to see properly and ended up going to the emergency out of hours doctors where i was informed i had a contact allergy, I was asked if i had used anything different on my eyes. My answer was no, as i've used Touche eclat many times prior to this time, and i did not suspect this to be the culprit, i actually thought it may have been something else which i then threw away.
This past weekend I applied Touche eclat to my eyes again, this was the ONLY product on my face, My eyes started to swell after just a couple of hours, i noticed the swelling and pain again so removed the make-up immediately, that evening i went to a wedding reception.The following day I woke to very painful blistered acid like burns to my eye lids and under my right eye (pictures attached)
I'm deverstated, I have never had a problem using YSL products before now, infact i'm a big fan, however this experience has really dented my confidence in the product and myself, I wont leave my home until it has heeled which will take atleast two weeks possibly longer, the blisters have penetrated several layers of skin, they have gone from being open oozing wounds to large tight painful scabs, I am unable to attend my college course as i can not drive due to the pain and swelling.
I am wondering if there has been a change to the ingredients of the product that could have cause such severe burns to my face.
I worry i wont be able to use anything on my eyes for some time to come and i am extremely worried about scaring.
I am very disappointed and expect a satisfactory solution to my severe burns from your product within 14 days.
