Im new to all of this. What do you do?

Aimee's pre school is open plan, but she has a key worker who primarily looks after her when she is there.

We have got a big box of Thorntons for her from Aimee for Xmas, but should we perhaps get something for the group of key workers (there are 6).

I dont want to feel mean going in with just something for her key worker.

What do you do? x

I would probably give the chocolates to the 6 key workers and get amiees key worker a photo frame or a book

OMG I forgot lillies!!! yikes! I dunno I would get her keyworker a present and then the other 6 maybe a box of nice buscuits of something to share? or its alot another 6 box of chocolates??

Owens nursery teachers did this and still do.. There are 6 of them and all the presses go on a table and they split them at the end of term, so the not so nice or forgotten about or part time teacher still gets something.. I think now owen has a set teacher and a teaching assistant (ta is just for a special needs girl but always in class) I buy for the teacher, wine or chocs and something cheaper for the ta..

In saying that I don't buy christmas, I just do end of school year! they get cards only at chrismas...

Hell no! Im crap at that sort of stuff and would end up poisioning them for Xmas or something.

Hannah used to only have 3 teachers in her room so I just bought them all a pressie at about 5 quid.

But now she has a lot more as she's in a bigger 2-3 room so it will just be her keyworker. I might hand in a box of biccies for the staff room.

i was gonna do the same for paiges nursery as people do at the care home i work at, buy a big box of chocies and a bottle of wine and let them share them out themselves
we save everything we get given til xmas eve then everyone picks something off the pile!

Last year there were 5 girls who were in the bit of the nursery where Lily was so i got them each a little box of chocs, this year there are more so i was thinking of taking in a big box of chocs for them to share instead x
