| Ok I always joked that if I ever got pregnant with a girl I just knew if be really sick, well I have no idea if it's a girl but holy cow ive never felt so rubbish in my life! Feeling sick alone is bad enough but I can hadle it, but I was sick yesterday and now I'm scared to eat because it seems to make things worse! Please help me! Any little things that helped that I could try would be very welcome! |

| I feel for you! This time I felt sick for about 20 weeks and it was awful It was always worse from about 5pm but I felt generally squiffy most of day. Feeling sick was worse than the days I actually puked (which could be completly out of the blue - eg burp and all of a sudden im vomiting over the floor ) What kinda helped.... Real coke. Think the sugars and fizz worked wonders and kept energy up. I know you should be careful with caffeine but you can still drink 4-5 cans a day and be within safe limits. Obviously the sugar is stupidly high, but if its only for a few weeks it will do no harm. Salt and vinegar crisps also helped a bit, prob replacing lost salts... I found I HAD to eat or it was worse. Turns into a vicious circle but... get too hungry = feel sick, feel OKish when eating certain foods (crisps, toasted ham sanwhiches etc) and then feel sick again while you digesting them Def better than being hungry though! Stuart got me those sea sick bands from Boots aswell, which helped slightly but arent a miracle cure. Being tired also made it worse, think thats why it was worse from 5pm. Really hope it only lasts a cpl pf weeks for you. It really is horrible!!! xxxx |

| The traditional things are dry biscuits, crackers and ginger but with Chloe none of them worked for me. Lemonade eased it a bit as well as sucking on cola ice lollies, and salt and vinegar crisps. In the end though I had to get anti sickness tablets from the doctor. If you can't keep anything down including fluids for more than a few days you need to see your gp x |

| Breath mints always eased the nausea for me with Sophia. Luckily havent suffered with anusea that much this time. But remember waht it was like and was a killer!
My friend was sick all day every day for the first 3 or so months. She found ginger biscuits helped a little. She found the anti sickness drugs made it worse!
Lotsa hugs,
Mandy xx |

| I had to make myself eat something with Tyler but with Finlay nothing really helped apart from actually being sick. Once i'd been sick if I ate something I was normally ok.
I went off ALL drinks it was awful everything made me feel sick. peppermint tea is supposed to help with nausea but that's only if you can stomach the tea itself *bleurgh* |

| My colleague has recommended ginger tablets and sucking on crystallised ginger.
I think that's what I'll be looking for when I go shopping tomorrow!
Also, if you can eat, just eat a little at a time as being full can set you off as well xx |
