I cant keep taking it away and bringing it back all night...im hoping its just a phase but any ideas what i can do? Its been going on for a while...mara has witnessed it lol...remember the pasta incident"!!

| Hmmmm, we have had times where Aimee has done this and our way around it is to pretend that the food is ours and not hers. Then she actually 'wants' it and will sit and eat it.
Other than that, I really dont know what to suggest. It must be so frustrating xx |

| I think the only thing you can do is actually put it in the bin the first time...or give it back once and say next time it goes in the bin and then chuck it, hopfully he'll learn to just eat it? |

| We occasionally have this, but on the whole they are good eaters so i don't worry about them not eating enough, so i have just taken the plate away and said 'ok fine, if you don't want it you can get down from the table'. Then not mention it. I find that they come back to the table, or cry straight away and ask for it back. He is seeking out attention (assume this is your younger son?) so don't let him see you get stressed or give him any x x x |

| i just chuck it in the bin!
A is a pain in the backside with this but it goes in the bin and she doesnt get anything else
I know it sound harsh but i hate tea time battles so now we dont have them she says she doesnt want it i say fine thats it nothing else E on the other hand tells us she is finished, pushes the plate away then keeps taking it back and eating more for the next 10mins
