| Had my 28 week appt today, baby is head down but free so hope he stays that way round. My iron levels have dropped despite taking supplements so I need something stronger, other than that all is well
She did tell me they won't sweep me at the clinic though when the time comes, I'll have to go o the hospital which I thought was odd
Hope everyone else's ok x |

| Glad it went well, when I was trying for a vbac the consultant told me it was best to have a sweep at the hospital as they are more experienced at it! Hope baby keeps behaving for you xx |

| I'm on one a day at the moment, so need to increase. I started off taking spatone, maybe try that and see if it helps, it's a bit gentler on the digestive system then tablets x |

| Glad to hear little dude is behaving. How are you doing veg wise? A lot of green veg is good for iron could you maybe have a bit more of that to help? Glad everything is good though. Weird they want to sweep you in hospital x |

| Haven't read other replies so don't know if this is repeated but do you take the iron tablets with glass of orange juice? as I was told this help the iron be absorbed more.
My sweep was booked at the hospital too with Joshua... although I didn't get there. That is how they do things here. It's very strict, 12 overdue sweep at hospital and 14day overdue induction. They won't change that at all. They were a lot different in mid sussex, everyone at induction by 10days. |

| I've got one more appt in 4 weeks with the midwife then 2 weekly at the hospital. shell, they're doing a sweep on me at 40 weeks to try and start things off as they don't want to induce me if they can help it x |

| It's only because I'm high risk if I have another section, because i have a very large blood vessel right in front of my uterus which means in a section I bleed really heavily. Apparently induction on vbac is more likely to end in a section, so they're going to try and start me off that way. I'm sure if I'd had a natural birth last wouldn't even consider it x |
