well thats hopefully my last appointment with m/w she has booked me in for a sweep on my due date though if i dont go before she expects a slap on wrist though as they are not meant to bubs is 4/5ths down it was causing me too much pain for her to push anymore down there
I questioned her about the going into hospital based on contractions as i have never done this before and she said i go when i feel i need to , say if they are 10 mins apart , more so as my 2nd stage of last labour was so quick , i thought you had to go when they were a few mins apart ?

glad it went ok, how have you not had to go in based on contractions before? tell me to p off if i am being noisy lol
my second stage with finlay was 1 hour so i am hoping this is a nice quick one lol, how far away are you from he hospital?, just phone and told them and they told me when to come in, hope he comes soon x

well i have never went in on my own accord so to speak based on contractions

my first i never thought i was in labour , i went to the sunday surgery in the hospital thinking would get some pain relief for my back and the doc examined me and called an ambulance ( this hospital no longer has maternity ) to tame me to next town
with my second i heard a pop and waters went so called hospital and went straight in
with 3rd i was induced so i have no idea what the "rules " are for going based on contractions

I asked the mw when i should call in and she wouldnt say how far apart they should be, she just said once they are starting to get painful then ring in.

I was told when you couldn't cope with pain, but call and check and they will let you know x

They say go in when they are every 3-4 minutes but because your last 1 waa so quick you might want to go in earlier just in case x

oh right, i think you will know anyway when to go in, i was induced with finlay and i didnt think it was that much different

just remember you can always phone them and ask, there are some good apps for timing contractions lol x
