I know a few people were talking about these so had a look to see what they were. Mum and Dad have bought Jamie a scooter for his birthday (which he has tried and loves although its put away now). Do you think its worth putting one of these on the list as well (baring in mind Mum and Dad will probably get him a balance bike for Grandchild day in the middle of the year) or do you think I should just leave it with the scooter

Hmm it's hard cause both of mine love the scuttlebug but Immi seems too big for it (it's quite low), and I know you've said Jamie is quite a tall boy so might be worth saving a bit and sticking with just the scooter, then balance bike.

He has short legs (only in 18-24 months in them - its only the top his big on). Not sure if that makes a difference. Hmm yeah perhaps it is more for younger kids

Might be ok for him then as he's only going to be 2 i guess. Immi is 3 so thats a whole year difference in size really, she loves Joshuas one always wants to go out in it, just looks a bit silly cause her knees are bunched up lol. They are only £20 too so not a huge expensive if not used for long. Its better for going out and about on that usually trike/scooter/bike as it folds down and can get in the pushchair basket.

| I'll have to have a look and see if I can see if it says how tall it is and then try and pin him down and measure his legs. It think his only actually on about the 75th centile. Its just that he has a really long body

Mind you I guess I'd need to work out the length of them when his sitting down which would be more complicated Perhaps I'll stick to the scooter

Could just go in a shop and let him sit on it and see whether he even likes it?

I'll have a look in Smyths and see if they do. There's a big toyrus near us as well. TBH I'm only really trying to think of something big for the mil as my parents have got him the scooter so I might just leave it
