has anybody's 10month old cut out day naps???

lewis usually has an hour in the morning, then another hour at about 2pm but for the last 3 days he'll only have 10-20mins in the morning and refuses to nap for the rest of the day No

he's still sleeping 12hours, 13 when he doesn't nap at all but cutting them out so early doesn't seem normal sleeping 548646

Tayla still has a 2 hours nap from 11am-1pm and sleep 12 hours or more at night. Id try and stick with napping for a while, i love having that 2 hours a day to myself to get things done or just chill out!

Thomas never cut his out but he did cut down a lot around that age - I was tearing my hair out Laughing. But once he was walking proper between 11-12 months he uped his naps again and has stayed pretty much the same ever since. I'm sure once Lewis gets running around he will need more sleep again hun. Got my fingers crossed for you anyway. xx

lewis is CONSTANTLY moving from the time he wakes up until bedtime, he'll either be cruising or crawling as fast as he can so i can't see it changing when he starts running...but i can hope i suppose! lol

the thing is he's always been an amazing sleeper, even when he was screaming all day because of a milk allergy, come bed time he'd sleep without a peep...but it's like he's decided to fight it now...he's so obviously tired and grumpy but won't give in..

means i get him into bed by 6pm though!! lol

How longs he been cruising and crawling? Might be that he just wants to be up and about all the time lol

Oliver didn't cut his naps down until he was 1yr but still has a good 2hrs on an aft. He did have the odd days where he'd just mess about in his cot etc, and after an hour i'd get him up.

Might be just worth putting in his cot for his usual routine nap and whether he drifts off or not, at least he's there if he wants too. I'm sure he'll slip back into the nap routine again. They still recommend 14hrs minimum for <12mth, but I suppose you can only lead a horse to water Laughing

Aimee started refusing her morning naps at about 13 months so we stopped them and she now has a midday nap for 2 hours. It works well and she sleeps great x

Seems like matthew is very strange indeed! he sleeps for about an hour in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon and is knackered by 6.30pm and in bed by 7 sleeping right through till 6.30 - 7.30 am!!!

I love that time as it gives me chance to catch up with jobs and have some me time and then when he's up i spend all my time with him!!
