Hi ladies i am really concerned for my Little man.

Ever since he was 5 1/2 months i have been able to put him straight into his own bed for 7 with no probs and he would only get up when he needed a bottle in early morning.

Well the last 4 nights have been a real struggle getting him down. His ok going to bed but an hour after he wakes screaming, crying even if i go up and hold him he still cries. When he turns over to go back to sleep he cries. I am not sure whether its teething, he has been having bright red cheeks and trying to put the blankets in his mouth. This is only happening tho at bedtime why? Its taking me about an hour to settle him down as he gets in a real state.

What do u think?

Char

Does sound like he could be teething hun. Have you tried a little spoon of calpol before bed to see if that helps?

I don't know about you but if I ever have a tooth/ear/head ache it always feels much worse at night so even though it doesnt affect him during the day so much maybe its just a little pain that's unsettling him at night?

I have an amber teething necklace for Hannah too - it seems to sooth her when she's teething.

Thanks Ladies, i have been putting him to bed now about 7:30. He has still been waking up an hour later and i tend to find him sitting up crying so i have been tucking im back in and his asleep all night then.

I have lowered the cot now to as i found him standing in there monday lol. I think he slept better.

I will have a look at the teething necklace.

Thanks

Char
