Jamie used to just say no or stop eating when he didn't want something but now if he doesn't want that particular food or has finished he throws it all on the floor. It doesn't seem to matter what we say as he just ignores us. Is this just a stage they go through and how did you get them to stop? He eats in a room with a wooden floor so its not doing any damage but I still don't really want him doing it

umm i do think it's just a phase, elijah will still do it if he's tired but very rarely launches an entire meal across the room now. if he is getting very bored he will start throwing things one by one and saying 'oh deaaaaaar' or 'uhh ohhhhh' but i think that's because im washing up or something and he feels left out. i would just keep going with loads of praise if he says 'all done' or 'finished' or as elijah does puts his cutlery on the plate and hands it all to me.

when Arwyn's had enough she starts dropping it on the floor so I just take it away. She very rarely leaves any food though

I think it's a phase, Alfie used to do it all the time it drove me mental. I just ignored him and took his plate away. If he cried i'd give it him back and tell him he had to eat it instead of throw it, and he'd eat the rest, if he didn't i knew he was full. He doesn't do it at all any more he just says finished and puts his plate in the sink x

Yeap noah still does it lol, throws it to the dog drives me made too, only like bits of food though.
