My poor girl Is there anything else i should give her over than calpol? She wont let me use teething gel on her either. Shes never had any probs with teething until now, but shes a snotty whingebag today!

Aawww i feel 4 ya hunni Sophia goin through exactly the same I thought I had posted in my sleep LOL I have taken to give Sophia Baby ibuprofen It seems 2 work quicker then calpol and lasts a lot longer Worth a try Also have a pillow under her matress to raise her head and baby vicks and baby albus oil at night to help with breathing Not much else u can do Make sure she drinks loads to replace loss fluids from dribbling and snottles

She has a proper pillow, got snuffle baby (bit rubbish tho!) Buts shes not drinking much at all

yeh ibuprofen is good but not too often. i only give it when the calpol is due to wear off. Teetha powders are very good as weel just for calming them down x

How to u actually use the powders?

You can give ibuprofen 2.5mls 3 times a day along with calpol quite sfaely and for teeth its more effective than calpol cos it reduces swelling and inflammmation. Just try not to give it on an empty tummy

The powders come in little sachets and you just pour them in their mouths, have you tried putting gel on HER finger for her to put on, c loves doing it herself now shes worked out what it is

Amber necklaces are very good too, c never takes hers off, something hard to chew on and those icy toys if they will use em c just throws hers in disgust
