he's doing fabulous thank you!!

7 weeks early but has never needed any kind of breathing support,he's now off all his monitors and onlyhas a nasal gastric tube for feeds in.We are hoping to do transitional care from this weekend to establish his breast feeding then he can come home!

Thats good, he must be a strong un!

Hi all, I've just got round to registering, finally!

I'm Ros, I live in Herts with my OH and our son Seb, with no 2 on the way in December, so I'll be back on maternity leave from late October. (And scarily enough, this time next year I'll be going back to work again....) I'm an engineer (electronics / programming), but currently only work 3 days a week whilst Seb has a great time at nursery.

Pregnancy going ok, tiredness and backache which are worse than last time, but I guess that is to be expected with a toddler to chase around! I've only got 7 more weeks in work as I have a backlog of annual leave (which accrued at full time rate last time I was on mat leave). We're having building work done though which won't be finished until after baby no 2 has arrived so we're going to have about 10 weeks of serious disruption coinciding with the arrival... Hopefully it will all be worth it in the end!

I currently (when im not on maternity) work for Northern Rock as a computer analyst but its not really where my heart lies. Ive studied levels 1,2 and 3 of Counselling at college and im hoping eventually to go back and complete my foundation degree so i can become a drug and alcohol counsellor.

I have 3 pets, a chameleon called Steve, a Gecko called Urwin and a rabbit called Jessica.

I love my family lots!!
