im gettin blumming impatient and its stressing me out! its non stop and i cant get nothing done! im either feeding or sat rocking and holding his dummy in.

for 2 full weeks now ben is having.

8am - 9oz bottle hungry baby milk
11am - porrige and 7 oz hungry baby milk
1pm - pureed fruit meal and 9oz hungry baby milk
4pm- a purieed veg mash of sorts and a 9oz blt hungry baby milk
6pm - 7-9 oz hungry baby milk
8pm - 9oz hungry baby milk
BED!

its constant feeding. between these times, particulary from 1pm till bed time its a constant whinge and he is chewing hard at me wanting fed, if i give in a give him juice in between he is gulping it down like he is starving and taking a whole 9oz bottle a time and then still looking for me 30 mins later ! i know its not teething, his gums are still soft and squishy and there is no other tell tale signs either.

i give up, he is always starving. he isnt even putting on the weight to show for his scoffing either. i changed his milk from cow&gate to sma and got into trouble for that, sma just curdles in their tummys and makes them feel fuller and in the long run is less satisfying apparently. and aptimil makes him come out in a rash

i dunno what to do except keep feeding him

Crikey hun! and heres me thinking I have a greedy one bless him.

I don't know what to suggest hun other than speak to your HV/doc. Is he actually hungry? or just thirsty? Not to worry you but excessive drinking and weeing and drinking loads and not gaining weight are signs of diabetes in babies and it might be worth ruling it out.

we had him tested for that n ruled out.. he is actually hungry, he gulps his milk down and still looks for more. sopke to HV bout it and she told me to stop feeding him so much.. i did and made him go the 4 hrs between feeds with nothing extra and he lost weight! so her advice didnt work. and its the only advice she offers. he isnt back at his consultant till december. even thou they aint investigating the noonans ne more, this huger and not thriving is a huge part of it. im lost..
