this is the one i used but its north east only

they've got them all over though, you get 50p per kilo but if they're only going in the bin anyway you might as well. We had lots of old jeans and a few winter coats so it weighed quite heavy.

I never bin them as we get LOADS of those charity sacks

I think we get 2 a month - how many clothes do they think we get through?! Im lucky if I fill 1 every few months!

Think I'll stick to the charity ones - rather than a company sell them on to make their own profits!

the reason I used them is the past 2 charity sacks i put out weren't even collected, the last lot got soaked and I had to throw everything out.

Its silly isnt it - the waste of money sending those sacks out! Rolling Eyes

I do worry about the charity ones and will only put the bag out Monday-Wednesday - our road has people walking home drunk...can you imagine if they raided the bag? Laughing

My dad works next to a shop that does them charity bags. Apparently they only accept certain things and chuck everything else in the skip. He got a load of stuff out of it (complete Friends boxset still with wrappers on!) so hes given them to me to sell on ebay!!

Yeah it is very silly Lisa - like you say - exactly how many old clothes do they think I have? I mean I know I've put on weight but I do hope to get back into a size 12 one day Razz. When that day comes I will take great pleasure in filling 2 bags a week with size 16s Laughing

Pinky - why on earth would people steal them? if they want them that bad they only need ask, thay can have mine.

xx

Can you not freecycle or charity shop it, I know the ones that come and collect are handy but generally they don't give the clothes they sell them!
Otherwise put it on eBay as a bag of bootsale for collection only Smile

We also get loads of bags through the door. We take all our charity stuff to one in town where you can park outside for free. I signed up with them so they can gift aid any money they make off my stuff.

I use the charity bags for bin bags when im stuck Laughing

Iv noticed a few of the charities dont even send bags anymore. Iv had a few labels through my door recently that you just stick on your own bags. Must be economising due to the credit crunch! Laughing
