not sure how reliable this is but a dandelion leaf would cure a nettle sting but yet you touch a dandelion and you need to pee ?

When I first moved out and bought a house my Mum visited and disapeared for a while. When she came back she had a smug smile on her face. After a few mins she announced that she had gone upstairs and turned all the lights on and left them on!!! So now I knew how she felt!!

Then she announced that she was going to run outside then run back in and leave her shoes on!!! She is crackers!!

My granny used to tell my uncle that the bad boys home would come and collect him if he was naughty. She used to go so far as to pack him a bag of pj's and toothbrush and then pretend to ring so he could hear and give his name, address and arrange a time for him to be picked up. She would then look out the window waiting for them while my uncle cried, aplogised etc and then would change her mind at last minute and ring them back.... cruel or what Suppose it worked though!

My friend still tells her 4 girls if the ice cream vanhas his music playing he has run out of ice-cream - I was horrified, she reckons it's saved her loads over the last 10 years ;D
