| ...for a friend, i cant belive how cruel life can be to people in all different ways. a friend of ours and his girlfriend have had such a shit time this year, they had to terminate there pregnancy in may at 28 weeks due to an extremely rare chromosome disorder i dont understand what it was and nor did 3 different docs/consaultants, it was a little girl and she was not developing and they were told would not survive for much longer, that must of been such a hard descision for them i cant ever imagine what it must feel like when people have to make that descision or lose a baby. they were told that it may happen again in further pregnancys but as it wa such a rare condition they didnt know much about it. well she got pregnant again and kept everything quite for a while to make sure everything was fine, they went to the 20 week scan and found out it was another little girl and everything was normal, i was over the moon for them! well on monday night i got a message from our friend saying his was in hospital and she has had a miscarrige ( at 25 weeks) i cant belive it! i am just iin shock at how awful it is, it made me cry sorry to go on but i dont have anyone else to talk about it too....oh isnt really the type to talk about feelings! im just really upset for them and everyone who has gone through a loss in anyway xx |

| Your poor friend, that is so sad when then obviously so desperately want a baby :-(
You may already know this, but I am pretty sure as she was over the 24 weeks it is classed as a birth/still birth and a death certificate is issued - as oppose to it being a miscarriage before 24 weeks and no certificate being done It may not mean much now, but many ladies who have mc before 24 weeks then feel let down (I cant describe how they feel, but I know it upsets some ladies) as their LO was never recognised as being a person - at 25 week she should be able to properly give her a baby a name and them be recognised as a person.

| thanks everyone, i just really needed to let it all out they named the first one lacey and the last one ruby , they had a funeral for lacey and are doing the same for ruby, it makes me see how strong peple are to go through such tragedy and i admire everyone who has had to deal with a loss! i feel sorry for my friends brother as his baby is due today and they cant even get that excited as they dont want to upset him after all they have been through. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx |

| I'm so sorry for your friend I won't go into too much detail but my brother and sil went through the same thing back in Jan where they had to make the same decision at 24 weeks and it was the hardest decision they have ever had to make..they had a boy and they named him Ollie. Not long after my sil fell pregnant again and is now due just two weeks away and thankfully all is well so far. My thoughts are with all the family xxx |
